My Notebook Laptop is wifi-enabled at 802.11b wireless. Can it connect it to my wireless-g router and surf?
Do I need a wireless-g adaptor to connect them together or can I just use the wifi wireless-b to connect? Pls help!
That depends on the router.
99.99 % of the routers have the options to configure for G, B and mixed (G & B).
So, yes, you will be able to surf on the internet everywhere.
Now, it's weird that your laptop only have 802.11B.
Anyway, the G mode will be usefull only if you need to transfer files, because, as you know, B mode supports only 11 Mb/s and G 54 Mb/s.
