How much Notebook Computer do I need?
I am curently looking to buy a new computer. I have already decided to buy a notebook computer because I am a student and it will be more convenient for me to be able to take it to class. It is way past time for me to get a new computer. My current desktop is running Windows 98SE. I'm just not sure how much Hard Drive I need or how much memory. I am a Computer Aided Design and Drafting student. I also am interested in doing graphic design. People in the past have suggested Mac, but with all of the changes in technology I understand that Mac has become nothing more than an over priced PC. There used to be many better components in a Mac, but now the only major difference is higher priced software. I know I want a notebook pc running Windows Vista. I'm trying to decide about the hard drive size, the amount of memory, the graphics card, the screen size, and the battery life. I am interested in any information anyone can give me about graphics and CAD software, also.
I shall tell you what, I have a G5 and a Xps m1210 and my windows based computer has had numerous spyware and a few viruses , My mac on the other hand has had none, And how many ?'s have you answered for Mac help or even seen? Me, none .So dont dis what you do not know.........By the time half the people in here with problems get there pc running right could have bought a Mac........
